Currently, there are no treatments for dry AMD. For wet AMD, the specialist will determine what the best treatment is. Nowadays, the most promising measure is the injection of an antiangiogenic medication into the eye at least once a month for three months. This medication may need to be applied more times if the lesion shows signs of activity in the check-ups that are carried out.
